I was told to live with him a few days, and his name would become obvious. It did. Happy. Born on March 2, 2017, he’s having a blast and going everywhere allowed. Skateboard parks, the auto mechanic’s, hiking in the woods, swimming in the lake, out for ice cream with his friends, and so much more.
Along the way, he’s learning life skills, building confidence, and discovering that offering behaviors is a great thing to do. What do Happy’s adventures have to do with my Agility Mindset? That’s easy! By allowing Happy to experience real life living, we’re adding to his ability to be a confident, resilient, curious, thinking, engaged, and connected pup, which are characteristics that we want for him in life …. and in agility …. or whatever else we do! Happy truly is happy, and he makes us feel the same.
